The Crozier-Sickles House

Preparing for the Big Day
The wedding day usually begins at the historic Crozier-Sickles House. Built in 1895, the two-story Victorian style honeydew green with red trim house is as-charming-as-can-be. The covered porch has a stay awhile feel.

It is finely appointed with antique furniture original to the house or donated. With plenty of windows natural sunlight fills the house year round. Colorful oriental rugs lie on wooden floors.

Lace tablecloths cover the dining room table and buffet. The cozy room has a fireplace with wooden mantel.

Historic Lebanon Church

Wedding Chapel
One of the star attractions of the Frisco wedding venue is the historic wedding chapel built in 1904. The white-clapboard chapel with bell tower is charming inside and out. It seats up to 120 guests.

When the Frisco Lebanon Church outgrew its sanctuary, it graciously offered it to the Frisco historic district. When the church was moved to its new location, it was lovingly restored. Original to the chapel are the wooden pews, tin ceilings, wooden floors, and pulpit.

Other features include lovely stained glass windows, elegant chandeliers, and wrought iron candelabras. The beautiful architectural ambiance creates a ceremony setting that is pure poetry. Very little, if any, extra decoration is necessary.

The original church bells ring as the newly married couple exit the chapel.

I know that BYOB and BYO Catering venues are of keen interest to many brides. The wedding fare is often a family affair with multiple generations cooking and baking from a long line of family recipes.

Frisco Heritage Center is a real gem for North Texas weddings. Offering BYOB and BYO Catering is a real added value for you.

All venues have a catering prep area. Call Brenda Tighe at 214-718-4668 (Scheduler) for information on a specific venue’s kitchen set-up.

The Frisco Heritage Center’s top-drawer Frisco Train Depot is your destination for wedding celebrations! The hall’s versatility is perfect for engagement parties, wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, and rehearsal dinners. The Frisco wedding venue seats up to 120 guests.

Flexible is the keyword when it comes to room layouts. Many seating plans are possible with plenty of dancing room.

The Depot itself has a charming personality. In the main room interior walls are wooden. Smaller spaces are accented with neutral wallpaper and white painted wood. Floors are wooden. For added pizazz, the outside is trimmed with white lights illuminating nearby grounds.

One of the appealing distinctions of the space is its decorating versatility. If your wedding is a DIY affair the venue has endless decor possibilities. If, on the other hand, you are planning a sophisticated wedding or event with all the frills the Depot is just as magical!

And you will like the venue’s elegant on-site rental accessories. More on that further down the page.

Choose round tables seating eight or banquet tables for six. Or, you may a mix of round and banquet tables. Chairs are included.

A beautiful wooden staircase leads to three upstairs rooms.

Featuring many windows, warm natural sunlight fills the house. Wainscoting is throughout the house. It features elegantly beautiful wooden floors.
