Amanda and Nathan are a charming couple. They met at the school where they both teach. Their budding romance was kept a secret for awhile. Everyone was all-smiles when they shared the secret.

Amanda and Nathan’s enchanting Christmas wedding was celebrated on December 20, 2014. Photographer Melissa Avey narrates their story.

Their wedding date has great significance to the couple. Nathan proposed on December 20; a year to the day I shot their engagement portrait session. They tied the knot the following year.

The winter weather in Canada can be tricky. Fortunately, it turned out to be a picture-perfect day. We had the softest touches of snow adding to the beauty of this special day. It was even warm enough to take outdoor photos.

Their elegant wedding was so beautiful with the images of Christmas surrounding them. Colorful red poinsettias filled the gorgeous St. Paul’s Church in Paris, Ontario, Canada. Their wedding reception was held at the Paris Fairgrounds.

I could not have been more thrilled to spend the day with them and capture their wedding images. They are best friends and full of love.
