Nicki’s Bridal Photo Shoot at Las Colinas Canal
One of DFW’s favorite spots for outdoor bridal photography is the Las Colinas Mandalay Canal Walk in Irving. Inspired by old European architecture, the scenery encompasses a tree line waterway, cobblestone walkways, large wooden doors, and wrought iron balconies. There are plenty of backdrops for engagement photos or bridal portraits. Best place for photo shoot at Las Colinas Canal.
Nicki and Jerrad wed May 31,2014 at the beautiful Cross Creek Ranch in Parker, Texas. George Troup Photography captured Nicki’s bridal photo shoot at Las Colinas Canal on a wonderful spring afternoon in March 2014. Nicki was stunning in her ruffled wedding dress. Her bridal bouquet was bursting with a colorful palette. She wore white flat shoes. With hair pulled back, her adorable drop earrings framed her face. And that smile? Gorgeous!
During the winter George and Lydia Troup shot the couple’s engagement photos. Lydia recalls, “They were both great fun. So much in love, sweet, and easy-going. They were a couple every wedding photographer dreams about.”
Nicki and Jarrad’s wedding ceremony was held outdoors at the Cross Creek Ranch. A light mist preceded the ceremony and Nicki, Jarrad, and guests were treated to a picture perfect rainbow arcking in the sky. Their wedding reception was filled with fun, love, and romantic moments. Ever the Dancing Queen, Nicki lit up the dance floor. The Cross Creek Ranch provided a beautiful and memorable wedding venue.
