Emiline’s Dallas Arboretum Bridal Photography Shoot
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of Dallas’ pride and joys. Located in East Dallas, it is a treasure trove of botanical gardens, water walls, sculptural art, Koi ponds, bridge views and panoramic views of White Rock Lake. It is one of the most picturesque sites for an outdoor bridal portrait. There is a fee for bridal or engagement photos at the garden. Elegant bridal portrait at the famous Crape Myrtle Allee at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden in east Dallas.

Emiline twirls and swirls at the Crape Myrtle Allee at the Dallas Arboretum. The stunning Crape Myrtles surround a stone walkway leading to the popular “frog fountain” water feature Polliwogs. Crape Myrtle Allee is beautiful every season of the year.

Emiline’s Dallas Arboretum Bridal Photography Shoot
Emiline’s Dallas Arboretum bridal photography shoot took place in the spring of 2015 when the Arboretum is in full bloom. Her photographer Shawna Hinkel took photographs at various sites around the garden. I think that you will agree that Emiline looked radiant in her David’s Bridal wedding dress.
Emiline and Alvaro met through the dating site Plenty of Fish. They corresponded for a few weeks before the couple had their first date. After turning down Alvaro several times, Emiline turned the table and asked him out-promising not to bail and to even pay the bill! They met at the Chili’s Bar and Grill in Corinth. Emiline was immediately smitten. Alvaro liked her quirky personality and smile. One evening Alvaro came to her house to watch a movie. He asked her to help get the DVD out of the front seat of his car. The “DVD” turned out to be a dozen roses. Emiline dried the bouquet and kept it in a vase as a memento. A dozen red roses became symbolic for their relationship; every birthday, anniversary or “just because” every bouquet was dried and saved. For their wedding the flower girl tossed dried rose petals from every bouquet received. Alvaro has quite a tradition to maintain!
