Bailey’s Bridal Photo Shoot at Mandalay Canal

Bailey’s bridal photo shoot at Mandalay Canal was captured by Dallas wedding photographer Shelley Foster. With it’s old world European architecture the Mandalay Canal in Las Colinas is prime real estate for bridal portraits. The cobblestone walkways, brick alcoves, ivy covered walls and water make it a memorable photography location.

Bailey and Sean were married on November 10, 2012 at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Bailey wore a strapless wedding dress with sweetheart neckline from David’s Bridal. She wore drop pearl earrings. Her hair was styled in an updo. For the photo shoot Bailey’s mother made her bouquet. Angela Navarro of Inspiration Blooms Events and Design made her wedding bouquet.

From Bailey: We had a very intimate wedding with close family and friends. Spending our special day with loved ones was something I cherish. I loved surprising my soon-to-be-husband before the wedding when we took our photos. We had a lot of special touches at our wedding. We displayed our baby pictures. Our guests filled out wish cards. And we had a very fun sparkler send off!

My advice for newly engaged brides? Make sure you give yourself enough time to plan the wedding. Your wedding will be more special if you include your family in the planning. And most of all enjoy everything!
