Bachelor and Bachelorette Party Ideas
Not one to be a party pooper, but I don’t think the stereotypical bachelor or bachelorette party held at a strip club is a good idea. I don’t think it fosters relational harmony, and one may even engage in behavior that he/she may regret. I had a girlfriend who acted so badly at a club during her bachelorette party that everyone who attended was sworn to secrecy about her actions.
With that in mind I have come up with ideas that still allow you to celebrate, but in a more meaningful way. You can still have fun and bond with the people most important in your life.

Private Suite Rentals
You can rent a private suite at an entertainment or sports arena. Many area venues offer single night rentals for concerts and sporting events. Some of the venues include:
• American Airlines Center in Downtown Dallas. Suites accommodate 12-50 people. Suites are available for Stars or Mavericks games as well as concerts. If you book a suite request that they announce your upcoming wedding on the Jumbotron. Visit American Airline Center Suite Rentals for more information.
• The Ballpark in Arlington offers many suite options. They have Hall of Fame Suites for 20 guests, Dinner Suites for 10 guests, and Party Suites for 30-120 guests. These suites offer indoor and outdoor seating. The Globe Life Park’s Suite sounds fun. It is located above Greene’s Hill overlooking center field. Check out The Ballpark in Arlington’s Suite Rentals.
• Frisco Roughriders offers multiple opportunities for groups. From group seating for 10-1,500 to a suite with air conditioning, they have something for everyone. Their group seating for 10-1,500 is $17 per person with all you can eat food. The Five Star Patios accommodates 25-50 people for $39 per person. The price includes food, beer, wine and beverages. They have two packages for their two tier pool patio. Accommodating 25 people, the rates are $700 and $1,450. The Winstar Diamond Deck accommodates 70-500 for $39 per person. Located in prime home run territory, this package includes BBQ, beer, wine and Dr. Pepper products. Open-air patios accommodate 25-50 guests, and Party Decks allow for 50-100 guests. Each venue is $39 per person. They also include BBQ, beer, wine and Dr. Pepper products. The air-conditioned suites for $1,450 accommodates 32-40 guests. Your food, beer, wine, and Dr. Pepper products are included in the rate. Visit Frisco Roughriders for group opportunities.
Spa Parties
Most day spas offer special bridal/bachelorette party spa days. This is a great way to unwind and relax with your bridesmaids and friends before the big day. One of my favorite spas is Cooper Spa in Dallas. (They also have a location in McKinney). They offer special wedding packages including message, manicures, pedicures, and body treatments. You can design your package or they will assist you in creating one for your group. Your package can be designed around a catered lunch for you and your friends. You could even stay at their Dallas location hotel and have a slumber party with your girlfriends! Visit Cooper Spa for prices and information.
