Ever After Chapel– The quaint, small wedding chapel is located north of DFW in the scenic country town of Aubrey. The curb appeal of the historic chapel is immediate. Two towering oak trees flank the chapel sides. The owner has lovingly restored this 19th century chapel. Two Victorian style glass doors lead you into the chapel. A decorative wooden frame outlines the interior doors. Ever After Chapel features include wooden floors, wall sconces, antique wooden pews, light fixtures, tall ceiling, and architectural elements. Little Chapel in the Woods – For certain Little Chapel in the Woods is one of the most beautiful wedding chapels in DFW. It was built on the TWU grounds in 1938 in Denton. More than 300 TWU students and faculty facilitated in the building. The first wedding was held in September 1939. A month later First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt dedicated the chapel. It has been designated by the Texas Society of Architects as one of the most outstanding architectural achievements in Texas. Chapel amenities include eight stained glass windows in the narthex and a three panel stained glass window behind the altar. Other features include candelabra, wooden arched ceiling, wooden pews, lighting fixtures, raised platform, and balcony. Little Chapel in the Woods accommodates up to 110 guests. Country Abbey – The Country Abbey resides in the countryside township of Justin on the western edge of Denton county. It is a chapel rich in history; it was home to the Justin Baptist Church for nearly one hundred years. The current owner purchased the property in 2002 and beautifully updated it while keeping its charm. The wedding chapel boasts stained glass windows, antique chandeliers, wooden pews, candelabra and a large platform. With their flexible decorating policy, brides may decorate the platform as they wish from casual to traditional to rustic to elegant. Four complete wedding packages are available. Lone Oak Ranch and Retreat – The “little white chapel” at Lone Oak Ranch and Retreat resides on 80 picturesque acres in Gainesville. The chapel was built in the late 1800’s. Originally located south of the property, it was moved to the ranch 10 years ago. It is the centerpiece of the ranch. The historic church has been completely updated with all the modern conveniences while retaining its vintage feel. Features include wooden pews, wooden floor, white walls, lighting, stage, sound system, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. A large wooden cross hangs on the altar wall. The steeple has a bell tower which is rung after a wedding ceremony. It is a favorite back drop for bridal and engagement photos. Contact them at 940-668-2855.
Na’Kayshions Wedding and Event Center-The charming white wedding chapel at Na’Kayshions Wedding and Event Center was built in 1890. Originally, the wedding chapel was located in North Dallas and was scheduled for demolition. The owners purchased the historic chapel in 2007 and moved it to its permanent home in Cedar Hill, Texas. It has been beautifully restored. Chapel amenities include 16 pews, bridal room, foyer, stage, podium, and restrooms. The DFW wedding chapel can accommodate 100 guests.
